Eagle Men, Women Both 12th In Week 4 USTFCCCA Poll

Ashland University's men's and women's outdoor track and field teams both are ranked 12th in the latest U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) NCAA Division II National Championship Rankings, released on Tuesday (April 7).

The Eagle women made a substantial jump, moving up 39 spots to crack the Top 25. The AU men are ranked 12th for the second week in a row.

Through the weekend, the Eagle men have eight provisional qualifiers for the 2015 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Nationals (May 21-23 in Allendale, Mich.), and the AU women have four.

Both Ashland teams will return to action on Friday (April 10) and Saturday (April 11) at the All-Ohio meet at Miami University.
