More Provisional Marks Pour In At Princeton

A select group of Ashland University distance runners competed on Friday (April 17) at the Larry Ellis Invitational at Princeton, and they came back with one improved and three new provisional marks for the 2015 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Nationals, May 21-23 in Allendale, Mich.

Junior Nick Hall earned a provisional mark in the men's 1,500-meter run, crossing the finish line in 3:48.15, and senior Isaac Potes did the same in the men's 3,000-meter steeplechase, coming in at 9:12.97.

Senior Drew Windle improved on his previous provisional time in the men's 1,500, finishing in 3:44.66.

Junior Kylee Bernthisel turned in a provisional time in the women's 3,000-meter steeplechase, finishing in 11:05.79.

The AU men's and women's outdoor track and field teams will compete at the Walsh Invitational on Saturday (April 18), beginning at 10 a.m.
