Ashland University Strength & Conditioning Coach A.G. Kruger competed on Saturday (May 2) at the Jesse Owens Track Classic on the campus of The Ohio State University.
Kruger won the hammer throw – championship event with a top distance of 74.16 meters, which occurred on his fifth attempt.
Just eight days earlier at the Ashland Alumni Open, Kruger, a three-time United States Olympian who has won 14 USA Track & Field titles (nine indoors and five outdoors), won the men's elite hammer throw category with a top distance of 75.54 meters.
