Ashland University's indoor track and field teams both are in the Top 25 in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association's (USTFCCCA) 2015-16 preseason national team computer rankings.
The Eagle women are ranked No. 9 in Division II, while the AU men are 12th in the country. Both teams have been ranked preseason top 10 in each of the last six indoor seasons.
In 2014-15, the Ashland men finished fourth indoors and third outdoors at Division II nationals, while the Eagle women placed in a tie for third indoors and seventh outdoors.
Ashland's men and women begin the 2015-16 indoor season on Saturday, Dec. 5 at the Tiffin Alumni Open.
