Pringle, Gregory Earn Weekly GLIAC Track Honors

Ashland University's indoor track and field teams swept this week's Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Runner of the Week honors, as freshman Myles Pringle earned the men's selection and sophomore Haley Gregory took the women's award.

At the Kent State Golden Flash Gala, Pringle earned provisional nationals entry in the 400-meter dash with a second-place finish in 47.98 seconds, and was fourth in the 200 dash in 22.22 seconds. Pringle also posted a provisional distance in the high jump (2.05m/6-feet-8.75).

Gregory earned provisional entry to nationals at Kent State by placing third in the 60 hurdles (8.82), while also placing seventh in the 200 dash (25.66) and serving as part of the 4x400 relay team which placed third (3:53.70).

The Eagles will return to action on Friday, Jan. 8 at the Ohio State Buckeye Classic.
