Eagle Indoor Track Up To Two Autos, 21 Provisionals

Through the first meet of 2016, Ashland University's indoor track and field teams have earned two automatic and 21 provisional qualifying efforts for this year's NCAA Division II indoor national championships, March 11-12 in Pittsburg, Kan.

Senior Jamie Sindelar continues to have the top Division II distance in the women's shot put this season at 16.25 meters/53-feet-3¾, while junior Jordan Crayon shot up the national men's weight throw list to second following his 21.09 meters/69-feet-2½ showing on Friday (Jan. 8) at the Ohio State Buckeye Classic.

Freshman Myles Pringle continues to rank second in the country in the men's 400-meter dash (47.98 seconds), while junior Bryn Campbell is third in D-II in the men's weight throw at 20.50 meters/67-feet-3¼.

The AU men's and women's indoor track teams will compete on Friday (Jan. 15) at the Northwest Ohio Invitational at Findlay.
