In the latest U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field National Team Computer Rankings, released on Tuesday (Feb. 16), Ashland University's women's team remains 13th in the country, and the Eagle men's squad moves down two spots to No. 15.
On the women's side, Ashland is one of five Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Top 25 teams, along with Hillsdale (No. 1), Grand Valley State (No. 3), Findlay (No. 12) and Saginaw Valley State (No. 25). On the men's side, the Eagles are joined in the Top 25 by GVSU (No. 3), Tiffin (No. 4), SVSU (No. 20) and Findlay (No. 24) among conference squads.
Through Feb. 12, the Eagle men and women have combined for two automatic and 30 provisional marks for the 2016 NCAA Division II indoor national championships, March 11-12 in Pittsburg, Kan.
The AU men and women will go to the Kent State Tune-Up on Saturday (Feb. 20), beginning at 9 a.m.
