This is the type of roll the No. 1-ranked Ashland University men's indoor track and field team is on of late – the Week 8 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference men's running Athlete of the Week is four athletes, not one.

Ashland's 4x400 relay team of senior Columbus Millet, sophomore Devin Snowden, freshman Paul Murray and sophomore Myles Pringle has earned the Week 8 conference honor. The quartet finished the 4x4 at the GVSU Big Meet on Friday (Feb. 10) in 3:12.59 – a time good for the No. 3 spot in NCAA Division II so far in 2016-17.

That time also is just 1:06 away from an automatic entry into 2017 Division II indoor nationals, March 10-11 in Birmingham, Ala.

Of the 16 men's running and field conference honors during the 2016-17 indoor season, seven have been earned by Eagles – junior Daniel Roberts in Weeks 2, 3 and 6, sophomore Myles Pringle in Week 2, junior Elijah Talk in Week 4, senior Jordan Crayon in Week 7 and the 4x4 in Week 8.

Ashland's No. 1-ranked men and No. 14-ranked women will split up for the second weekend in a row, going to both the OSU Open on Friday (Feb. 17) and the Kent Tune Up on Saturday (Feb. 18).
