In the final national rankings released on Monday (March 6) afternoon prior to 2017 NCAA Division II nationals, Thursday-Saturday (March 9-11) in Birmingham, Ala., Ashland University's men's indoor track and field team continues to be No. 1 in the country, while the Eagle women are at No. 16.

The Ashland men are atop the D-II rankings for the seventh week in a row, compiling 201.35 computer points. They lead No. 2 Adams State (168.24) by more than 33 points.
