On Thursday (May 25) afternoon, Ashland University senior cross country/track and field distance runner Zach Humrichouser earned College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District honors in NCAA Division II, District 4.

Humrichouser has posted career-best times of 4:02.37 in the 1,500-meter run, 14:53.00 in the 5,000 run and 30:59.82 in the 10,000 run during the 2017 outdoor season.

An Integrated Social Studies Education major, Humrichouser graduated in May with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.72. Earlier in 2016-17, he was named Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference All-Academic Excellence in both cross country and indoor track and field.
