It's safe to say Ashland University junior Myles Pringle is ready for the conference meet.

In the last meet prior to the 2018 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championships, Feb. 24-25 at Grand Valley State, Pringle won three events, broke his own school record in the men's high jump and improved on a previous nationals provisional time in the men's 200-meter dash on Saturday (Feb. 17) at the Kent State Tune Up.

Pringle won the high jump at 2.18 meters/7-feet-1¾, which also was an improved automatic qualifying mark for 2018 NCAA Division II indoor nationals, March 9-10 at Pittsburg State. He also won the 200 dash in 21.37 seconds, and the 400 dash in 47.30 seconds.

Sophomore Ellie Jindra won the women's high jump at 1.66 meters/5-feet-5¼, while runner-up finishes were turned in by sophomore Arthur Greenlee IV in the men's 60 hurdles (8.14 seconds, tied previous provisional time), junior Tyler Sievert in the men's 800 run (1:54.67), senior Tyler Lance in the men's 3,000 run (8:43.77), senior Elijah Talk in the men's shot put (17.03 meters/55-feet-10½), and the men's 4x400 relay team of freshman T.J. Elliott, Pringle, senior William Robinson and freshman Trevor Bassitt (3:16.55).

Placing third in their respective events were Bassitt in the men's 60 hurdles (8.23 seconds), freshman Ian Johnson in the men's 800 run (1:54.70) and junior Brandon Sicurella in the men's weight throw (17.61 meters/57-feet-9½).
