Eagle Men 21st, Women 23rd In Week 3 Outdoor Rankings

Following a rest week for many of the Ashland University men's and women's outdoor track and field athletes, the Eagle men are 21st and the AU women are 23rd in the Week 3 2018 U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) NCAA Division II Outdoor National Championship Rankings, released on Tuesday (April 3) afternoon.

As of the end of March, the Eagle men have six marks which would qualify for 2018 NCAA Division II nationals, May 24-26 in Charlotte, N.C., and the Eagle women have four such marks.

Since the start of the 2010 outdoor season, Ashland's men have been in the top 25 of the USTFCCCA rankings 70 times, and the Ashland women 58 times.

Ashland's men and women will compete at Akron's Northeast Ohio Quad on Friday (April 6) and Saturday (April 7).
