Seventeen Ashland University men's and women's track and field athletes earned 2018 outdoor all-region laurels on Monday (May 14) afternoon from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
The top five individuals in each event from each region earned all-region distinction, in addition to each of the members of the regions' top three relay teams.

In addition, Ashland athletes who were cited as the top performers in the region in their respective events were Pringle in the 200 dash, 400 dash and high jump, and the 4x400 relay team of Pringle, Bassitt, Elliott and Phillips on the men's side, and Hammer (heptathlon), Jindra (high jump), Leigh (hammer throw) and Tomei (shot put) on the women's side.
