With the 2018 NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships just three days away, Ashland University's men's team is ranked No. 10 in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) pre-nationals rankings, released on Monday (May 21) afternoon.
Ashland's men have been in the top 25 in the USTFCCCA outdoor rankings each week since Week 2, and have been in the top 10 four times in that span. Since the start of the 2010 season, Ashland's men have been in the USTFCCCA outdoor Top 25 on 77 occasions.
The 2018 outdoor nationals will be Thursday-Saturday (May 24-26) in Charlotte, N.C. Eight men and five women will represent Ashland at the meet.
Since 2014, the USTFCCCA has released pre-championships rankings. The Ashland men's and women's outdoor pre-championships rankings, and their actual nationals team finishes, follow:
