Ashland University's men's indoor track and field team is at the top of NCAA Division II for the second week in a row.

The second regular-season U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) computer rankings were released on Tuesday (Jan. 29) afternoon, and the Eagle men once again are in the top spot with 187.38 points. Tiffin is in the No. 2 spot (141.46 points), followed by Adams State (132.93).

This is the first time Ashland's men have been the No. 1 team in D-II indoors in back-to-back rankings since Weeks 6-7 of 2017.

Five events give the Eagle men at least 20 computer points – sophomore Brent Fairbanks in the weight throw (24.75), senior Myles Pringle in the 400-meter dash (24.00), sophomore Trevor Bassitt in the 60 hurdles (22.98), junior Alex Hill in the weight throw (21.77), and Pringle in the high jump (21.15).

Ashland's women's indoor track and field team moved down to No. 11 this week, earning the majority of its computer points from redshirt freshman Lindsay Baker in the shot put (24.92) and senior Natalie Helenthal in the weight throw (20.45).

The Eagle men and women will go to the 15th Annual Akron Invitational on Friday and Saturday (Feb. 1-2).
