11 Eagles Lauded With USTFCCCA All-America Honors

As announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Monday (March 11) afternoon, 11 Ashland University men's and women's athletes earned 2019 NCAA Division II indoor track and field All-America honors.

The Eagle men's team earned the program's first NCAA Division II team national championship at Pittsburg State (Kan.), with 38 team points to second-place Adams State's 37, while the Eagle women placed 11th in the country.

Athletes of member institutions who finished in the top eight of their respective individual events and relays at this past weekend's national meet took home first-team All-America honors, while those who placed ninth-12th in their individual events, or on a relay team that finished ninth or 10thm were named second-team All-Americas.
