11 Eagles Lauded With USTFCCCA All-America Honors

As announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Monday (March 11) afternoon, 11 Ashland University men's and women's athletes earned 2019 NCAA Division II indoor track and field All-America honors.

The Eagle men's team earned the program's first NCAA Division II team national championship at Pittsburg State (Kan.), with 38 team points to second-place Adams State's 37, while the Eagle women placed 11^th in the country.

Athletes of member institutions who finished in the top eight of their respective individual events and relays at this past weekend's national meet took home first-team All-America honors, while those who placed ninth-12^th in their individual events, or on a relay team that finished ninth or 10thm were named second-team All-Americas.
