Ashland University's two-time NCAA Division II men's track and field national champions will be recognized at the Cleveland Indians game on Aug. 23 at 7:10 p.m. vs. the Kansas City Royals at Progressive Field.

The Eagles' recognition will take place on the field prior to the start of the game, with head coach Jud Logan throwing out the first pitch.

Those interested in purchasing tickets should contact Zack Hurst, Ashland Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Marketing and Promotions, at 419-289-5442, or zhurst@ashland.edu, no later than July 5. Ticket prices are $20 for upper reserved, $31 for upper box and $59 for lower box.

In March in Pittsburg, Kan., and in May in Kingsville, Texas, the Eagle men's track and field team won the D-II national championship indoors and outdoors, respectively. Ashland became the first Division II men's program to win both national titles in the same year since Saint Augustine's in 2014.
