Former Ashland University All-American Abby Majesky is in her third season as the Eagle track and field program’s jumps and multi-events assistant coach.

Majesky brings impressive credentials from her time as an Eagle, including an indoor high jump national championship in 2010 (5-feet-9¾). She was a seven-time All-American at Ashland – five times combined indoors and outdoors in the high jump, once indoors in the pentathlon and once outdoors in the heptathlon.

In 2011, Majesky was the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Women’s Midwest Region Indoor Field Athlete of the Year and Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Indoor Women’s Field Athlete of the Meet.

In addition to her track and field exploits, Majesky also played on the women’s basketball team during her freshman year, seeing action in 24 games and averaging 2.2 points and 1.5 rebounds per game.

Majesky is married to Malcolm Majesky, Ashland’s Strength & Conditioning Coach. She gave birth to a daughter, Penelope, in April of 2016, and another daughter, Olivia, in July of 2018.
