In home games vs. Wayne State on Thursday (Dec. 7) and Davenport on Saturday (Dec. 9), Ashland University sophomore guard Jodi Johnson filled up the stat sheets.

The result was Johnson adding to her honors list, as she was named the latest Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference South Division Player of the Week on Monday (Dec. 11) morning. It is Johnson's second such award of 2017-18, and the third of her career.

Johnson turned in one of the best stat-sheet-stuffing weekends in program history in the last two games, averaging 19.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 7.0 steals per game, while shooting 61.5 percent from the field and 83.3 percent from the free-throw line - all while averaging just 23.5 minutes per outing.

She had at least 18 points, six rebounds, four assists and six steals in both victories.

Johnson ranks second in the GLIAC with 19.8 points per game, and is the conference pacesetter in field-goal percentage (60.6) and steals per game (3.4). She is third in the league at 43.5 percent from 3-point range, fifth in assists per game (3.8) and eighth in free-throw percentage at 83.6 percent.
