After each home Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference victory in 2017-18, the Donley Ford Auto Group will announce a Player of the Game.
On Thursday, Jan. 11, No. 1 Ashland University women's basketball defeated Grand Valley State, 83-67, at Kates Gymnasium, to move to 16-0 overall and 8-0 in the GLIAC.
In the victory against the Lakers, senior forward Laina Snyder turned in her 42nd career double-double - 24 points, 11 rebounds - and added two assists and two steals to become the latest Donley Ford Player of the Game! Snyder also became just the second player in program history to have at least 1,650 points, 800 rebounds, 300 assists, 100 blocks, 125 steals and a field-goal percentage of at least 50.0 in a career.
