On Saturday, Jan. 27, No. 1 Ashland University women's basketball defeated Tiffin, 111-46, to improve to 20-0 overall and 12-0 in the GLIAC. The Eagles won their 57th consecutive game, extending their NCAA Division II women's basketball record and tying the D-II basketball record, women or men.
Senior forward Andi Daugherty scored a season-high 25 points in 24 minutes, was 11-for-15 from the field and added seven rebounds, four assists and two steals. Daugherty became the third player in program history to score at least 1,750 career points (1,758) en route to becoming the latest Donley Ford Player of the Game!
