Ashland University's women's basketball team, newly-minted as the No. 1-ranked team in NCAA Division II, will open 2018-19 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play at Kates Gymnasium this week.
The Eagles (5-0) will play host to Lake Superior State (3-2) on Nov. 29 at 5:30 p.m., then to Ferris State (3-2) on Dec. 1 at 1 p.m. This will begin a stretch of four straight GLIAC contests prior to returning to non-conference play around and during the Christmas break.
