No. 1 Eagles To Start GLIAC Road Play At No. 15 Lakers, Panthers

No. 1-ranked Ashland University women's basketball will go on the road in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play for the first time in 2018-19, heading to Michigan to take on No. 15 Grand Valley State and Davenport.

The Eagles (7-0 overall, 2-0 GLIAC) will play at the Lakers (6-1, 2-0) on Dec. 6 at 6 p.m., then finish the abbreviated road trip at the Panthers (3-5, 1-1) on Dec. 8 at 1 p.m. Coming into the week, Ashland has won 30 consecutive road (non-neutral-site) games, two wins shy of the NCAA Division II record of 32, set by Saint Rose from Nov. 30, 1996-Feb. 20, 1999.
