No. 10 Eagles Travel To Michigan To Play 'Wolves, Cardinals

Ashland University's women's basketball team will play its last two regular-season road games of 2018-19 this week.

The No. 10-ranked Eagles are 23-2 overall and 15-2 in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference going into the next-to-last regular-season week overall. Ashland will travel on Feb. 21 at 6 p.m. to Northwood (11-4, 8-9), then go to Saginaw Valley State (5-19, 5-12) on Feb. 23 at 1 p.m. The Timberwolves are among the four-team group tied for spots No. 5 to 8 in the race for positioning in the GLIAC Tournament, March 5 and 9-10.

Last week, the Eagles won two conference games at Kates Gymnasium - 82-49 over Purdue Northwest on Feb. 14, and 70-60 vs. Parkside on Feb. 16.
