For the third consecutive Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) NCAA Division II Top 25 Coaches Poll, Ashland University's women's basketball team is slotted at No. 4 in the country.

As announced by the WBCA on Tuesday (Jan. 7) afternoon, the Eagles (13-0 overall, 5-0 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) are in the top five of the official coaches' poll for the 73rd time – moving them into a tie for seventh place all-time with Cal Poly Pomona.

Ashland will play host to No. 3-ranked Grand Valley State (13-0, 5-0) on Thursday (Jan. 9) at 5:30 p.m. at Kates Gymnasium.
