Stephanie Gehlhausen is in her second season as Ashland University's women's basketball assistant coach.

While head coach Kari Pickens was on maternity leave during the 2018-19 campaign, Gehlhausen led the Eagles to a 6-0 record.

Gehlhausen spent the 2016-17 and 2017-18 seasons as an assistant at Western State (Colo.), following four seasons coaching at her alma mater, USI. She has previous experience in all aspects of on-court player development, identifying and recruiting potential student-athletes, developing scouting reports on opponents, organizing and co-managing summer camps, and was the video coordinator, along with many other duties.

A college basketball player at both USI (2009-11) and the University of Alabama in Huntsville (2006-09), Gehlhausen played in 105 career games, and was voted team captain of the Screaming Eagles.

Gehlhausen graduated Cum Laude from USI in 2012 with a degree in Kinesiology.
