Misheff Finishes 10th at NCAA Championships

            Ashland University's Erin Misheff (Silver Lake, Ohio/Walsh Jesuit) closed out her collegiate career on Saturday (May 19) by finishing 10th at the NCAA Division II Women's Golf Championships in Louisville, Ky. This is Misheff's second consecutive Top 10 finish at nationals. Last spring she finished sixth.

            Misheff ended the four-day tournament with a score of 312/+24. She started play Saturday in 14th place.  The senior shot 75 for the final round.

            Medalist honors went to Abbey Gittings of Nova Southeastern. She shot 298/+10.

            Nova Southeastern captured the national championship with a final score of 1234/+82.  Florida Southern (1254/+102) was the runner-up and Grand Canyon (1273/+121) was third.

            This year's championship tournament was hosted by Bellarmine and played at Persimmon Ridge Golf Course.
