Women's Golf Takes Fourth Place at UIndy Invite

The Ashland University golf team traveled to the University of Indianapolis Sunday and Monday to compete in the UIndy Invitational.

In their first competition this fall, the Eagles finished in fourth place.

Kaitlin Neumann was tied for third place at +7. The sophomore started the second round tied for 12th, but battled her way back with impressive play to get in the top three on the leaderboard. UIndy's Annika Haynes was the top competitor over two rounds. She ended the weekend at +5.

AU notched two additional top 20 finishes.  Ali Green (+14) tied for 15th and Madison Musick (+16) shared the 19th spot.

Abbe Tepe and Emily Jereb finished out the five-woman team.

Ashland's next competition is September 27-28. The Eagles will play at the Grand Valley Division II National Preview.
