Women's Golf Finishes Day One Third at Perry Park Spring Fling

The Ashland University women's golf team competed in Day 1 of the Perry Park Spring Fling on Saturday (March 21) in Perry Park, Ky.

The Eagles finished the first round in third place with a score of 310, just 14 strokes back of the leader, Grand Valley State.

The lowest round from the Eagles was turned in by sophomore Kaitlin Neumann. She recorded a 73, which was tied for third overall. Senior Madison Musick turned in the next best round of 77, tied for 12th.

The Eagles will return for the final day of action on Sunday (March 22) beginning at 8:30 a.m.
