Eagles In Second Place After Day 1 Of Tiffin Spring Invite

The Ashland University women's golf team finds itself sitting tied for second place after the first day of the Tiffin Spring Invitational at Mohawk Country Club.

Grand Valley State was the class of the field on Sunday (April 12), as the Lakers shot a combined 304, leading the Eagles and Findlay by 17 strokes, which both turned in rounds of 321.

AU sophomore Kaitlin Neumann turned in the lowest score card for the Eagles. She shot a 78 on the afternoon. Junior Ali Green shot an 80, sophomore Emily Jereb was one stroke back at 81, and senior Abby Tepe recorded an 82.

The Eagles will return to the links for the final day of the Tiffin Spring Invitational on Monday (April 13).
