Eagles Fourth After First Day At Cavalier Classic

The Ashland University women's golf team ranks fourth overall after the first day of the Cavalier Classic on Saturday (April 18) at the Glenmoor Country Club in Canton, Ohio.

Ashland shot a 318 in its first round. The University of Missouri-St. Louis sits atop the leaderboard with a 305 after Day 1, followed by Grand Valley State University (313) and the University of Findlay (315).

The Eagles' top performer was junior Ali Green, who carded a 76 and sits tied for fourth place on the individuals chart. Both seniors Madison Musick and Abby Tepe shot 78s and are tied for ninth place. Sophomores Kaitlin Neumann and Emily Jereb finished with rounds of 86.

AU will return to the links on Sunday (April 19) in the final day of the Cavalier Classic.
