Ashland University junior Ali Green and senior Abby Tepe have been named 2014-15 Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholars.
Green has a 3.86 cumulative grade-point average as an Intervention Specialist major, while Tepe graduated with a 3.68 cumulative GPA in Early Childhood Education.
Green and Tepe were key cogs in the Eagles' ninth-place finish at the 2015 NCAA Division II Women's Golf Championships, tied for the program's best-ever national placement. Green tied for 37th place individually with a four-round score of 315 and had two rounds of 77, while Tepe was tied for 55th individually and carded a low round of 76.
The two Eagles are among 758 women's college golfers recognized in 2014-15. Criteria for selection to the team is a minimum 3.50 cumulative GPA.
