Ashland University's women's golf team finished the three-day, three-round Perry Park Spring Fling in seventh place among a 27-team field.
The Eagles finished with a team score of 316-318-313—947. Grand Valley State won the event at 303-295-298—896, followed by Indianapolis (297-303-307—907) and Southern Indiana (294-311-306—911).
Junior Kaitlin Neumann used a second-round 74 and matching 76s in the first and third rounds to finish in ninth place individually at 226. Senior Ali Green was tied for 12th at 76-76-77—229.
Rounding out the Eagle top five were three freshmen – Morgan Eib (82-86-79—247), Kayleigh McHugh (82-84-81—247) and Monica Torda (84-84-81—249).
Also playing was junior Kelsey Yantz (94-83-90—267).
The Eagles will return to the links on April 3-4 at the NC4K Classic in Blacklick, Ohio.
