Ashland University senior Ali Green shot a 4-over 76 on Day 1 of the 2016 NCAA Division II Championships at CommonGround Golf Course in Aurora, Colo., on Wednesday (May 18).
Green is tied for 35th after 18 holes, seven shots behind leader Mailen Domecq Chantry of Nova Southeastern (3-under 69).
Starting on hole No. 10, Green had four bogeys on the back nine. Coming back to hole No. 1, she birdied No. 4 before bogeying No. 7.
Green is one of 12 individuals playing along with 12 teams in Colorado.
Green and the rest of the nationals field will go in Day 2 of the Championships on Thursday (May 19).
