Neumann’s Hole-In-One Highlights Trevecca Day 1

Senior Kaitlin Neumann's first hole-in-one was the highlight of the first day of the Trevecca Nazarene Fall Invitational for Ashland University's women's golf team on Monday (Oct. 24), as the Eagles sit in fifth place in the 13-team field after the first 18 holes.

Neumann finished Day 1 with a 3-over round of 75, three shots off the lead.

The Eagles ended the day with a team score of 324, trailing only first-round leader Indianapolis (302), Grand Valley State and Findlay (305 each) and Southern Indiana (315).

Sophomore Morgan Eib shot an opening-round 78, followed by sophomore Monica Torda (83), sophomore Kayleigh McHugh (88) and freshman Logan Pottorf (93).

UP NEXT: Day 2 of the Trevecca Nazarene Fall Invitational on Tuesday (Oct. 25) to finish the fall season.
