Eagle Women End Fall Fifth At Trevecca Fall Invite

Ashland University's women's golf team has finished the 2016 fall season with a fifth-place finish at the 13-team Trevecca Fall Invitational, the second and final round of which was played on Tuesday (Oct. 25).

The Eagles followed a first-day 324 with a second-round 319 to finish at a 67-over-par 643. Indianapolis (302-292—594) won the event, followed by Findlay (305-292—597), Grand Valley State (305-302—607) and Southern Indiana (315-324—639).

Senior Kaitlin Neumann finished tied for fourth individually, going 75-74—149 and ending 5-over par. She shot her first hole-in-one in Round 1 on Monday (Oct. 24).

Sophomore Morgan Eib (78-81—159) finished in a tie for 24th individually. Rounding out the Eagle field were sophomores Monica Torda (30th, 83-80—163) and Kayleigh McHugh (tied for 43rd, 88-84—172), and freshman Logan Pottorf (65th, 93-96—189).
