Ashland Women Sixth After Perry Park First Round

After the first 18 holes of the Perry Park Spring Fling on Saturday (March 25), Ashland University's women's golf team is sixth in the 18-team field.

The Eagles had a Day 1 score of 311, 14 shots behind first-place Findlay (297).

Leading the Ashland charge were senior Kaitlin Neumann (75), redshirt freshman Krystal Hu (77) and freshman Anna Schatschneider (78). Neumann is the reigning Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference women's golf Athlete of the Year.

Following were sophomores Monica Torda (81), Kayleigh McHugh (82) and Morgan Eib (84).
