For the second year in a row, Ashland University senior Kaitlin Neumann has earned first-team All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference honors, as the 2017 GLIAC women's golf awards were released on Thursday (April 27) afternoon.

In 11 tournaments in 2016-17, Neumann is averaging 76.71 shots per round, and has nine top-10 finishes. She won the Saginaw Valley State Spring Invitational in a playoff on March 19, and was third individually at the 2017 GLIAC Championships from April 21-23.

Neumann is a four-time All-GLIAC selection, having earned first-team honors in both 2016 and 2017 and second-team laurels in 2014 and 2015.

Ashland was No. 6 in the NCAA Division II East Super Region in the first two rankings, and the third rankings will be released on Thursday. The selections for each of the four D-II super regional tournaments will be announced on Monday (May 1) via press release on NCAA.com, and the East Super Region tournament will be May 8-10 at Glenmoor Country Club in Canton, Ohio.
