Every year this decade, Ashland University's women's golf team has played in the NCAA Division II Super Region 1 tournament.

That streak will continue in 2017, as the Eagles earned entry into the NCAA postseason on Monday (May 1) afternoon. As the No. 6 seed in a 12-team tournament, Ashland will play May 8-10 at Glenmoor Country Club in Canton, Ohio.

Since 2010, the Eagles have finished ninth (2010), third (2011), fifth (2012), second (2013), sixth (2014), tied for second (2015) and tied for fourth (2016) at the super regional.

The 2017 NCAA Division II National Championships will be May 17-20 at Findlay Country Club in Findlay, Ohio. The low three teams and the low three individuals not on those teams from each of the four super regionals will advance to the national championships.

Ashland has qualified as a team for the national tournament in 2011, 2013 and 2015, with its best finish being ninth in both 2011 and 2015.
