Eagle Women Tied For Second Through 18 In Erie

Ashland University's women's golf team is in contention after the first of two rounds at the Michael Corbett Fall Classic in Erie, Pa. on Sunday (Sept. 10).

The Eagles' team score of 319 puts them in a tie for second place in the 23-team field, along with Franklin Pierce. Kutztown is the team leader after 18 holes with a score of 311.

Freshman Hannah Lemons led the Eagle effort with a round of 76 in her first collegiate competition, followed by sophomore Krystal Hu with a 79.

Junior Monica Torda and sophomore Anna Schatschneider each fired 82s, while freshman Sophie Hemleben rounded out the AU day with an 83.
