Ashland University sophomore Logan Pottorf and freshman Sophie Hemleben each have earned 2017-18 Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholars status.
Both Pottorf and Hemleben were season-long starters for the Eagles last season, and both helped Ashland to a 10th consecutive NCAA Division II regionals appearance. Pottorf sports a 3.83 cumulative grade-point average as an Actuarial Sciences major, while Hemleben carries a 3.61 cumulative GPA as an Early Childhood Education major.
The WGCA recognized 1,011 women's collegiate golfers as 2017-18 All-American Scholars. The criteria for selection to the team is a minimum GPA of 3.50.
