Ashland University's women's golf team concluded play at the two-day, two-round William Beall Fall Classic on Monday (Oct. 8) at Findlay Country Club in Findlay, Ohio.

The Eagles were 14th in the 15-team field, finishing at 337-336—673. Missouri-St. Louis held on for the team title at 295-303—598, followed by Grand Valley State (302-301—603) and the host Oilers (300-304—604).

Sophomore Hannah Lemons ended the tournament with a round of 74 on Monday, zooming up the individual board for a tied-for-10th finish (78-74—152). It is Lemons' second top-10 placement this fall, after a tied-for-third ending to the one-round Michael Corbett Fall Classic to begin 2018-19.

Another sophomore, Sophie Hemleben, was tied for 60th (84-85—169), senior Monica Torda placed in a tie for 76th (86-89—175), junior Logan Pottorf was 81st (89-88—177) and freshman Cece Dillon was 82nd (89-90—179).

Playing as an individual, freshman Sophia Lowe was tied for 84th (88-96—184).

It's a short turnaround for the AU women, as their next tournament will be the Kentucky Wesleyan Invitational on Saturday (Oct. 13) and Sunday (Oct. 14).
