In its final round of the fall 2019 season on Sunday (Oct. 20), Ashland University's women's golf team finished eighth at the 11-team Panther Invitational, hosted by Davenport.
Junior Sophie Hemleben ended the fall with her fourth top-10 individual placement in six events, taking sixth place at 79-75—154. Hemleben boasts second-, fourth-, sixth- and eighth-place finishes this fall.
Senior Megan Pollock carded 79-79—158 to tie for 18th place, sophomore Sophia Lowe was 44th at 79-88—167, senior Logan Pottorf was 47th at 81-88—169, and senior Claire Coughenour ended in a tie for 55th at 86-88—174.
On the team board, Ashland finished at 318-330—648. Tiffin won the team title (299-312—611), followed by Wayne State (309-313—622) and Lake Superior State (313-310—623).
Individual medalist was Tiffin's Amanda Johannson (74-70—144).
