Becky Smith is in her second season as the Ashland University lacrosse program's assistant coach.

Smith played four seasons at NCAA Division III Gordon College (2012-15). Since the conclusion of her playing career, Smith has spent time in various coaching roles. She spent 2016-18 as the head varsity coach at Manchester Essex (Ma.) High School. In this role, Smith was twice named Coach of the Year in her division (2017, 2018), and twice led her team to a Cape Ann League Baker Division championship (2016, 2018). Smith's team qualified for the state tournament all three seasons she was coaching.

She also served as a United States lacrosse high school national tournament coach in 2017. During her tenure, Smith's team won its division.

Smith also has experience coaching at the club lacrosse level with the Ohio Premier Lacrosse Club and Middlesex Bears club lacrosse program, as a volunteer for the Wooster Youth Lacrosse Club, and at the college level as a volunteer assistant for her alma mater.

Smith graduated from Gordon College in 2016 with a degree in French and Middle School Education.
