2012-13: As a freshman, Beam was 13-13...placed second at the Ashland University Open and fourth at the Eastern Michigan Open...tied for third on the team in takedowns (59)...won three major decisions and had a pin.

High School/Personal - Beam won a state championship in 2012...in 2011, he placed fourth at the state meet...recorded 379 takedowns in a season, which is the second-highest mark in state history...had more than 1,000 takedowns in his career...Waynedale won the 2012 state championship...lettered four times on the mat...is the son of the late Don Beam and Miriam Beam.
