Labry Ranked Second In Country At 133, Eagles Receive Votes

Ashland University junior Michael Labry is ranked second in Division II at 133 pounds in the latest Wrestling Coaches Association rankings, released this week.

Coming into today's (Jan. 3) Wendy's Mid-Atlantic Duals, Labry was 20-1, was leading the Eagles in wins and takedowns (75), and was tied for second on the team in pins (four) – one less than he had in all of 2013-14.

Labry also is the top-ranked wrestler at 133 pounds in Super Region II.

Ashland also is among those teams receiving votes in the latest national poll. Notre Dame College, the defending Division II national team champion and Ashland's opponent in a home dual on Jan. 21, is the top-ranked team in the country.
