Eight Ashland University wrestlers are ranked in Super Region II, and the Eagles are ranked No. 6 as a team, going into Saturday's (Jan. 2) Wendy's Duals at Kates Gymnasium.
AU boasts a pair of top-ranked regional grapplers – senior Joe Brandt at 197 points and freshman Chandler Minnard at 133. Redshirt freshman Sebastian Vidika is the No. 2-ranked wrestler in the region at 125.
Three Eagles are ranked No. 4 at their respective weight classes – senior Zeb Beam (157), junior Jordan Murphy (174) and junior Brandon O'Neill (184). Junior Brent Fickel is ranked sixth at 149, while freshman Christian Price is ranked No. 6 at 165.
