Danny Krispinsky is in his sixth season as Ashland University's head women's soccer coach.

Krispinsky was named Ashland University's head women's soccer coach on March 4, 2013. He took a team that was 7-10-1 in 2012 and guided it to a 10-6-2 finish in 2013. The Eagles were 8-3-1 in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, and advanced to the GLIAC Final Four. In the postseason, the Eagles downed Northern Michigan, 1-0 at Ferguson Field. They lost in the GLIAC semifinals to Michigan Tech, 2-1.

In Krispinsky's second season in 2014, the Eagles finished 12-7 overall and 7-5 in the GLIAC, and once again made it to the GLIAC Tournament semifinals.

In 2015, Ashland was 14-4-1 overall and 9-3 in the GLIAC, and reached the championship game of the GLIAC Tournament thanks to two home wins - one a shootout against Michigan Tech and one a late come-from-behind 4-3 decision against Ferris State.

The 2016 season saw Krispinsky earn GLIAC Coach of the Year honors following a fourth consecutive conference tournament appearance and an overall record of 10-3-4.

In 2017, the Eagles went 12-5-2 overall and 7-2 in the GLIAC, and made a fifth straight appearance in the GLIAC postseason.

Krispinsky is a 2006 AU graduate. He played soccer for the Eagles and during his career, was named first-team and second-team All-GLIAC. He was a member of the the GLIAC All-Academic Team. As a senior in 2005, he scored seven goals and had three assists for 17 points. Krispinsky was second on the team in scoring. That 2005 team won the first GLIAC men's soccer championship in school history.

Krispinsky served as an assistant coach with the AU men's soccer team in 2010 and 2011. That 2010 team won the GLIAC championship. That's the only men's soccer team in school history to win the GLIAC Tournament title. The 2010 team entered the NCAA playoffs ranked 12th in the country. The Eagles ended the year 13-5-3.

During the 2012 soccer season, Krispinsky was the head boys soccer coach at Ashland High School. He directed the Arrows to a 15-3-2 record. The Arrows won the Ohio Cardinal Conference championship with a 10-0-0 record. Krispinsky was named the conference and district coach of the year.

The AU head coach and his wife, Matti, reside in Ashland.
