The Ashland University women's tennis team began the 2010 season on Friday (Sept. 3) with a 7-2 triumph at Tiffin. This was also a GLIAC contest.
The Eagles got singles wins from Corinne Pasley, Kira Kotova, Alexandra Ware and Megan Gisclon. Kotova, a freshman, began her AU career with a 6-0, 6-0 decision over Taylor Cooper.
In doubles play, the Eagles went 3-0. For Ashland, those tandems included Victoria Goudy and Paige Cooper, Pasley and Ware and Kotova and Gisclon.
This is a busy weekend for the Eagles as they play at Findlay on Saturday and Wayne State on Sunday.
