AU Tennis Team, Seven Individuals Receive Academic Awards

Seven Ashland University women's tennis athletes, as well as the entire team, earned 2017 academic recognition from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association on Tuesday (July 25). 

The Eagles' team GPA in 2016-17 was 3.60, which comfortably surpasses the required 3.20.

In order to garner the award as an individual, an athlete must obtain a varsity letter, a grade-point average of at least 3.50 for the current academic year and have been enrolled at their present school for at least two semesters. 

The Eagles honored individually were as follows: 

Meghann Fitzpatrick, senior (biology)

Elizabeth Kidd, junior (integrated mathematics education) 

Natalie Keron, sophomore (early childhood education) 

Chelsea Myers, sophomore (biology) 

Kaitlin Snider, sophomore (toxicology) 

Allison Brooks, freshman (exercise science) 

Brianna Brdicka, freshman (toxicology)
